Players will then unlock level 2 and level 3 rewards as the event goes on.

Global Challenge Rewards

Level 1: Extra Candy for catching Pokemon with Nice, Great, and Excellent throws.

Increased chance for trainers level 31 and up to get XL Candy for catching Pokemon with Nice, Great, and Excellent throws.

Level 2: Extra 5000 XP from raids.

Level 3: Guaranteed Rare Candy XL from winning in-person Max Battles.

Pokemon GO Steel Skyline Spawns

How to Get Dynamax Duraludon in Pokemon GO (Can It Be Shiny?)

Now, you’re probably wondering how to actually get an encounter with Dynamax Duraludon in Pokemon GO during the Steel Skyline event. Well, there are three ways to do so!

  1. The first way to get Dynamax Duraludon is to take part in Four-Star Max Battles in Pokemon GO. These will appear on your map, so it’s just a matter of waiting until Duraludon shows up. To find the ones near you, press on the bar underneath the binoculars icon. Go to the Power Spot tab, and a list of Pokemon will show up to battle against.
  2. The second way is to complete three Dynamax Battles (with any Pokemon). This Field Research Task will reward you with a Duraludon encounter.
  3. And the final way to get Dynamax Duraludon is to pay $2 for the Premium Timed Research (listed below) for Steel Skyline. The tasks involve catching Pokemon and making Nice and Great Throws, with the final reward being an encounter with Dynamax Duraludon, as well as 800 Max Particles and 3000 Stardust.
