UPDATE 15/12/23: Twitch is rolling back some of the changes to its sexual content policy it announced yesterday.
The update allowed for certain previously prohibited content, including fictionalised nudity, in a bid to appease artists on the platform. However, in the wake of the change, the Art channel was flooded with explicit art.
In response, Twitch is reverting this particular change.
“There also was a great deal of new content that was allowed under the updated policy,” reads a new blog post from Twitch. “Much of the content created has been met with community concern. These are concerns we share. Upon reflection, we have decided that we went too far with this change.”
