Brewfest has returned to World of Warcraft once again, but this time, fans can participate in the Brewfest Banquet Outdoor Scenario, complete fun questlines in Khaz Algar, and obtain excellent new rewards. The Dark Iron’s Ceremonial Set transmog, Brewfest Barrel Bomber mount, and the Brewer’s Balloon are just some of the fantastic items that players can obtain during Brewfest in World of Warcraft this year, which is live now through October 9.

In World of Warcraft, Brewfest is the in-gem analogue to Oktoberfest, a German beer celebration known as the largest Volksfest in the world. In Azeroth, it manifests as a two-week holiday event featuring alcoholic activities and booze-themed rewards.

What’s New With Brewfest 2025 in World of Warcraft?

This year, Brewfest is back in World of Warcraft in a big way. While Blizzard usually adds a new reward or two each year, this holiday refresh included over a half-dozen. The Dark Iron’s Ceremonial Set, which is a black and orange recolor of the Dwarf transmogs from World of Warcraft’s September Trading Post, is available in exchange for Brewfest Prize Tokens alongside black and green Brewer’s kilts and berets, the Barrel Helm, and the Brewer’s Balloon toy. A new mount called the Brewfest Barrel Bomber has a small chance to drop from the Coren Direbrew encounter on the first kill per account each day, and a blue tint of the Brewer’s set can be obtained from the Brewfest Banquet Outdoor Scenario.

This Brewfest Banquet is similar in many ways to other open world activities in World of Warcraft, such as the Community Feast soup-making event from Dragonflight or the Theater Troupe from The War Within. Fans can gather materials for the kitchen by defeating mobs, cook up pretzels, soup, or brew, or serve NPCs with these tasty treats in order to score points alongside other players. Were that not enough, new quests in Khaz Algar provide even more Brewfest merriment for fans to enjoy.

All previous Brewfest activities, from ram racing to barrel rolling, are still available, as are old Brewfest rewards and achievements in World of Warcraft, ensuring players can still get the most out of the holiday. The event goes live with regional weekly resets starting September 23, and will be live through October 9.

The holiday event is not only a great way for fans to fill out their Traveler’s Logs for September and October, but also to pass the time until Patch 11.2.5. The exciting update, which kicks off World of Warcraft: Legion Remix, arrives October 7, just a few days before Brewfest leaves town until next year.
